I would like to have a new tab(action link) on the scree and when a user clicks on the tab the user should be shown a new view created.
Would like to achieve something similar to when a user clicks a menu item he/she is redirected to a particular page.
How should one create a new view with a custom action link?

Hi,
I am trying to integrate RightNow CX with Field Service Cloud.
Currently I am able to create Activity in Field Service from RightNow. But when I assign the Activity to a particular Resource in OFSC, the Resource field in RightNow is not getting updated and when I complete the Activity, the Status change is also not getting replicated in RightNow.
Can anybody help me, to find out a solution for the same.

Hi All,
I am trying to configure a native application through the native plugin feature, from the add action link. URL template is one of the mandatory attributes during this configuration, and it expects the template that was used for building the external URL form properties. I am having trouble configuring the right value for this attribute, could some one please share some information on how i can get the the URL template. Any examples would really help. I am trying to do this on an android device.

In the map view of the activity dashboard the location is not getting plotted on the map. I am using Google maps view. The address is correct as the address is taken of an existing place.

The data of the technicians and activities is given in a CSV files and that needs to be imported in OFSC.
Couldnt find anything regarding. Is it possible in OFSC and if yes how ?

Hi,
Would appreciate if some one can share any insight on integration between OFSC and SAP using SAP PI. I understand that OFSC is certified to integrate with SAP. Do we have any native connectors available from within SAP PI or do we need to procure an additional license for integration considering that my PI version is > 7.1.

The PAS was created using the survey menu item under Company configuration. For sending the survey a new message scenario was created. But I cant understand how to reference the PAS created so that a mail can be sent to customer after completion of the activity

Hi,
There is a requirement to add custom field in the get_capacity response and also need to display it on the Dispatch --> Quota --> Dashboard to show that custom field is visible?
Is it possible?
I could not find any option to add that field on the dashboard and also make it available in get_capacity response.

Hi,
How should I create a custom report in OFSC? In my case, in the existing PAS report available, I want to add a few more questions in the standard report. There are around 6 to 7 questions currently and would like to add a few more.

I was checking the demo instance provided by Oracle and could not find Subsystems and Integration?
Is there any way to enable it?
I wanted to end External System to send notifications but could not find anything like Outbound Configuration
Earlier demo instance (15.5.2) had that provision the current one 16.2 I could not find ways to enable it too.
Please assist.

I was exploring Plugin API documentation : http://documentation.custhelp.com/euf/assets/docs/Field_Service/16.2/pdfs/april2016_new_features.pdf.
If a particular activity field(say city) has to be updated then what should be the procedure to do so via the plugin API. The documentation is very limited.
